The Journey Begins!

Welcome to my blog. The journey begins in more ways than one today. This is the first time I've started a blog and even I'm not sure where this will go. Will it be no more than a series of inarticulate rants about shopping trolley ettiquette or something more meaningful? As for the other reference to a journey, I am speaking literally also. After work, I am travelling down the country to visit my father. Our relationship has been pretty strained since my mother died over ten years ago. But recently we've both made more of an effort to communicate so here's hoping. Also I hadn't been up to visit him since '02 so this will be an important visit. Well I think that will be all until I come back. So don't expect another blog for another week or so.
